I know.. crazy.
It's a little scarey.. because I don't know what it is.. or what is causing this.. is it a med?
I feel more scared and worried about this than having the RA!!
Does anyone have the same feeling? Any clue what it may be? I see the RD on the 11th... I will bring it up to him but anything I question he "pooh poohs" as a minor issue since I am feeling much better..
When I first got RA and went onto the meds I did not know what was happening to me.
I felt dizzy and as if I was walking sideways. This varied from hour to hour.
I also felt weird as if I was only half here and the other half was somewhere else.
Brain fog I think they call it.
Severe vertigo was another thing I suffered, safest place for me was on the floor.
MY symptoms as described above are slowly subsiding but I still get times when they return.
Personally I think it's the drugs that have caused the body and mind to go into a panic spin.
Bodak2008-04-06 19:06:40babs, it could be the Mtx or fa I get lightheaded a lot! I believe that's is listed as side effect of both drugs. I know I do feel different taking these drugs.Boy, do I know about that little, fleeting, floating, not quite dizzy feeling. I've had it all my life! I can go for months and months , even a year and then wham it's happening. Sometimes it lasts for weeks and other times it's a one time occurence. I've since developed an inner ear problem but the two seem unrelated. Have been to numerous physicans and they haven't found a reason. It's no worse or better since I've been on RA meds. Take care.
