I'm still hopeful that this will end up as just a bad dream. The symptoms will be just chemo-induced and they'll stop.

Maybe. Just maybe.

I'm not so sure anymore. My left knee is starting to lock--right knee is crunchy and possibly not far behind my left one going bad. And the symptoms are getting more bizarre. My left hand had a painful spasm cramp just holding a pill for less than a minute, my face began hurting on one side, more muscle pain (left hand is bad news), headaches (can't remember when I last had those--like in years), tinnitus and balance problems (I have had these for awhile but I thought it was just the chemo),  and  I can't see why but my eyes are still getting dry--have to pull away from the book or computer.

Does any of this sound familiar? I'll confess to extra stress but it's only because I'm not used to being sick like this. I had less trouble accepting my lymphoma. It took one visit to confirm and less time to diagnose, stage and plan a treatment strategy. I'm months into this and still can't get a handle on it.

Mab, sorry you are going through all this on top of lymphoma. Diagnosing AI diseases is such a long process, all the symptoms have to be sorted out as they all fall into eachother's (diseases) categories. I am a couple of years into it and still can't get a handle on it. Hang in there and hopefully you'll get answers soon. Honestly, I have answers, I'm still in denial or fighting it, not sure which...

Hugs!
Deb

Oh Mabs I'm sorry that you're going through a rough time. Hopefully your RD will find what's causing your symptoms.

Mab...I am so sorry and hope you get some results quickly.  Take care and rest!Mab, I'm so sorry.  You've been through so much already.  I hope it gives you some comfort to know that you're not in this fight alone.  Many of us here are still struggling with our diagnosis and treatment, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel.  It just takes longer to get to it than we want.  While you're trying to be patient until your answer is found, continue to tell us how you're feeling, what's going on, and what we can do to help.  We understand how you feel.
