Hello Everyone, I was on this forum a very long time ago and can't even remember my log in name, i thought i would come back and introduce myself you you all.

My name is Michelle, i am 32 years old.  I was dx with PA when i was 14 years old.  Its been a battle all my life, and i have been on many drugs over the years, indocid, indomethacin, sulfasalazine, plaquanil, arthrotec, bextra, naproxen, methotrexate, celebrex and enbrel, most currently the celebrex and Enbrel. I'm sure there have been more, but i can't remember their names right now.
I was married in May of 2006 and decided we wanted to start to try to have a baby right away, so i went off the Enbrel and stayed on the celebrex.  It took me 17 months to get pregnant and in that time my PA got progressivly worse, i was pretty much getting to the end of my rope when in January of this year i found out i was pregnant.  I started to notice the pain getting less and less till by 8 weeks of pregnancy, the only thing that really hurt was my knees.  It was amazing.  Well at 8 wks 2 days, i went in for an u/s and found the baby had stopped growing, so i had to take cyctotec to miscarry (ironically i had taken this drug along with the indocid for my arthritis to protect my stomach).  After the miscarriage my PA came back with a vengenace.  That is where i am today, trying to battle the pain while still trying to get pregnant again.  I'm not sure how much longer i can take this, so i am really praying to get pregnant again really soon.  Looking forward to getting to know you all.
Hi Michelle and welcome back to the forum.  I won't be much help to you since I was in my 50's when I was diagnosed.  Your body is really going through a lot of turmoil and stress right now. How long have you been trying to conceive presently?  Have your doctors talked with you about the damage that's taking place while you're off meds?  Take care and keep posting.  Lindy
