Well my cat scan I had booked for last week had to be cancelled as it was the same day my grandaughter was born, so now its booked for tomorrow morning. I had one done years ago but wasnt on all these medications then. I forgot to ask if its ok to have my enbrel in the morning before the scan is done. They both happened to end up on the same day. Has anyone else had a cat scan with contrast done while on enbrel etc.?I had one done right before Christmas but I was so sick then I don't remember if I had to fast or what. I'm sure if you call the facility they can tell you. I think that's who told me what and what not to do.I have had one with contrast and didn't change any of my meds. But, I would ask your dr. to be sure.I had one right after I'd had my remicade infusion and forgot that I had to have the IV for the CT scan, the guys in radiology couldn't find another good vein, or should I say the first guy with the terrible stutter couldn't. I agree with WTBRAF, call the radiology dept., you're on alot of different medication and they would know what you should hold off on and take later. Course it's already tomorrow in Australia, good luck.
