New in Australia, Need help with RA | Arthritis Information

Hi All,

My wife and I relocated to Adelaide, Australia from Bangalore, India recently. My wife had been undergoing treatement for Still's Disease (Rheumatoid Arthritis) for the last 6 years in India. She was being treated by one of the best rheumatologists in Bangalore, and he was very satisfied with the progress of the treatement.

She was under Medrol for some time when things were not that good, but now she is out of it, and she takes 10mg Methotrexate every week. She has some restriction with movement of her wrists , but that has not really affected her day-to-day life and career in the Information Technology sector except for the pain during winter and the rains.

We would like to carry on the treatement with a rheumatologist in Adelaide, so that we can lead a normal life. We have the complete medical reports with us, and a summary from the previous doctor for our next doctor in Adelaide.

As we are new to this place, and still in the process of getting used to the life here, can you please suggest a rheumatologist in Adelaide ?

Any pointers in this regard is highly appreciated.

Welome to the forum and to Adelaide. AllyARAJ, welcome to the forum. I hope you can get your wife some wonderful treatment with the help of others on this board. I'm in the US and can't really help with finding a good RD.
