Wow, a complete roller coaster this week and its only Monday. My son is booked on a flight to South Africa on wednesday night to start his working holiday. We went to the South African embassy in London on friday to see if he needed anything special to take with him and they informed us that he needs a South African passport to enter and leave S.A. because he was born there.( new rules) He holds a British passport as myself and his dad are British. We had no idea he needed a S.A. passport as he has always travelled on his british one. So we asked if we could come in a apply for it in person, they told us that it takes 6 months to obtain one???? We had to go and plead for someone to help us get it urgently, eventually they said he could pick it up on Monday( today) meanwhile his british passport had been sent away to be renewed and it was due back to us tomorrow. So off we went to London to fetch the S.A. passport and they wouldnt issue it to us without showing my sons british passport. We told them that it will be here tomorrow but they said if we dont come back with it today the urgent application will be turned down. We eventually travelled 250 miles to the issueing office this afternoon to fetch his British passport and back to London to the S.African embassy to fetch his S.African one. We now have 2 passports  and very happy son and two exhausted parents.............What we do for our kids!!!! I also missed my rutiximab infusion on Friday due to this catastrophe so i have to wait

Hi Lisa
Really sorry you are feeling so tired...
I was happy to see you have started rutiximab.  Last time I was on the board you weren't sure which way to go.   I've read some past posts on rutiximab and it really does sound good even if it takes a while to kick in.
Good luck with your next infusion.
