I am home from the hospital, so yay, I get to spend my birthday in my own bed. I didn't push the doctors into letting me come home today, it just worked out that most tests came back negative. They said I was severely dehydrated and I need more salt in my diet. Has anyone ever heard of that? Gross, I hate salt. It makes food taste....well, salty. I think most food has enough natural salt in it except maybe making mashed potatoes, etc. oh well....

Thank you all again!
Hugs!

YIPPEE!!!   glad you are home Deb!   enjoy your birthday!   Happy Birthday

Celebrate!
I have heard of that. in fact a few years ago i was in to docs cardiologist included cause i was really dizzy and also things go black when i get up. the cardiologist said i have orthostatic hypotension and that i dont have enough salt in my body and therefore wasnt retaining any liquids was dehydrates and had low blood volume. im not sure how much of that is true because at that time i was peeing a ton but since then i got dx with IC so thats what we up with the bladder.......but the orthostatic hypotension seems right it just means your blood preasure goes down when you stand up instead of going up like its supposed to.....first doctor i went to for this put me on a ton of gatorade a day!Yay, I'm glad you're home and better.  That was scary.  So glad you're home, Deb!  Happy Birthday Deb! So glad youare home. I've been told at one point that I needed more salt. It was because my blood pressure is always quite low. Someone suggested Gatorade. That's a good idea, as it has a lot of minerals that the body needs.

Have a Great Birhday!!

Gentle hugs, Nini
