Follow up with RD and Echo | Arthritis Information
I had my Echo and follow up appointment yesterday. It went well, other than the fact my RD was 2 hours late!
Echo went well I guess. I haven't heard from anyone yet.
Follow up went well to. It was a long day. First, she had to look again at who I was because she forgot I had RA, but remembered the Fibro. I had to remind her that's what she told me. Once she looked at my folder, she remembered!
She put me on Plaquinel. She told me my back pain I've been having the last couple of weeks was because of my scoliosis (spelling is terrible, I know). I already knew I had it, but the pain has been horrible. I can't imagine how bad it would be without tramadol.
I brought with me my x-rays from last year, last RD. They were of my knees and hands. She said my knees looked great, UGH, that doesn't explain the pain!
My hands have some erosion.
We are both hoping the Plaquinel helps!!
That's about it. Kind of boring, but I had to tell someone.
I hope the Plaquenil helps, too! I have scoliosis, and PT has been the best thing ever for my back pain, because pain meds never helped it, just made me sleep through it. I went once a week for about a month, and haven't had to see a dr. for back pain since! They gave me exercises and taught me different ways to do everyday things that has made a huge diffference.
Hope the plaquenil helps you. my rd was the same way at first I wish they would look at your chart BEFORE they see you so they can atleast know what's going on and not act like they have no clue about you! the big knuckles of my hands are also the main ones affected. what is Echo?Sorry, it's an Echocardiogram. She thought she may have heard a slight heart murmor, so she ordered one just to be safe.
