    took first injection of enbrel last night...  (no problems w/ the syringe or any of that..)

YAY!!  It's good to here that Babs :)  Enbrel worked for me overnight.  I mean, I went from hardly walking to pretty much normal the day after my first dose.  Hopefully for you, the change you've had so far is a sign of better things around the corner.  Keep us posted on your improvement, k? I had the same with my first shot . I started to notice an improvement within hours. And the needles are no big deal anymore. I find if I am in a rush and have my needle in a hurry,it can sting a little bit but not too bad. Well done on your1st of many Babs10, babs,

My mother has RA and had been on Cortisone for a number of years.
