OT: Card I finished Last Night | Arthritis Information

Well... I needed something to do yesterday, and figured I did not want to clean house, as last time I done that... I got high Blood Pressure... and decided cleaning house is not my friend.

So... I made another card. It is not exactly how I wanted it to turn out, but it will do until I figure out how to make it to where I am satisfied with it. I just feel that it is missing something, but not entirely sure what just yet.

But it be pretty!

Here are the bags I made for my SIL wedding as favors.

beautiful work joonie!   you are very talented.  yeah you could make up some and go to the fancy stores.  i betcha you would sell them as fast as you could make them.Joonie!

I think you found your calling.  Those cards and bags are amazing!  Great work!  You really should do a couple of small jobs and see how you like the feel and then make them to sell at the corner drugstore or something.  I think you will be amazed at how fast they sell.
Phats

Your right Suzanne, it is probably that the wording is a little small. Will have to get a little bigger size. It just felt like there was too much "empty space".

I have always been a little creative and liked doing crafts. I guess that is where my daughter gets it from.

My daughter helped me with that one. I let her help pick out which wording to use and what color the wording should be. Not like it could have been the green, I do not have that color... LOL! I have a limited paper collection, paper is expensive.

When I go to Hobby Lobby... and down the paper/scrapbook aisle I am in "heaven". Oh and we kinda have a Drug store that has everything! They even test our pool water and tell us which chemicals the pool is needing. So, if I ever decide to venture into selling them... I will see if they will carry them. Hey Joonie-

Just wanted to chime in too and say these are adorable!! I have always been the creative type but have stifiled the urge for quite a while. You are inspiring me. Joonie, They are sooo cute!. You are really talented at that kind of thing.

I don't know if you have a Costco in your area, but they carry boxed collections of hand-made greeting cards. They are so special. I have bought three different collections. I get them every time a new collection comes out.

The only thing I would change about Costco's collection is that they have a LOT of blank ones. Maybe you could do somehing like that?

Joonie, you are full of surprises!  The cards and bags are awesome.  Develop that talent that you and your daughter have and when you do not feel good, your daughter can fill in.  It's great when you can make money creating something that you love doing. You go girl! I can't see it joonie. All I see is a box with a ? in it.Thanks Everyone.

I went to Hobby Lobby today, and spent on some more paper that will help me finish my other card I wanted to make, but was lacking a pattern.

It will probably will take me a while to make the one I wanted to make, because there is a different technique I have to learn to do first.
