OT Kinda: Need some feedback | Arthritis Information

Hey everyone!  I was given some information about doing some at-home work for a company and I would like some feedback on the company itself....

The company is called Melaleuca.  It is an all natural product company.  None of their products have any chemicals in them.

Does anyone have any kind of feedback for me on this company?

Thanks

Good luck if you decide to go for it!

Hi, I worked for melaleuca for ov er a year and it cost me a fortune. The poducts are fantastic and if you get into it properly you could make money doing it. but what it is that you buy leads(phone numbers) of others who have enquired about home business and you call them to get them joined up. Melaleuca set up a web site etc for you and all training info. Then you have to purchase a set amount of points worth of products each month for either personal use or resale. I found i only joined about three people up the whole year and the products although great (still using some 2 years later as they are concentrated) are more expensive than you would normally pay. Be wary but it was fun if you can afford it and dont mind getting a phone hung up on you.I got involved with something similar awhile back. A lot of work and money with a relatively small return. It's really a full-time job if you assess what's required.
I was in Melaleuca for a couple of years.  MLM is not my thing, so I didn't work it very hard.  I was more of a customer than a distributor.  However, the products are fabulous.  I only gave it up because it was costing me too much to fulfill my 35 volume point requirement.  When I got RA, that money was going to co-pays and prescriptions.  I miss the products and I would get back in if I could afford it.  They are a reputable company.  You can make money if you have a large social network and are into selling.  As in everything, it all depends on what you put into it and how hard you want to work.  Good luck.  Stay away from Herbalife.
