I'm interested to hear from anyone who has lung involvement that is related to their RA. I want to know symptoms and treatment.

PhatsHey Phats, pulmonary fibrosis lower lobes, no treatment. Hasn't caused any problems and they think it's related to pulmonary sarcoidosis and RA. I realize it can become a severe problem and possible lung transplant but I'll worry about that another day. Right now it's stable and has been for 10 years. Had pul. sarcoid. and was put on high doses of Pred. for 6 months, went into and remain in remission. I have no symptoms with the PF except for slight COPD. O2 stats are always normal. My RD is comfortable with me taking MXT but I have to be seen even for the slightest sniffles. Lindy
