OT: Have you ever... | Arthritis Information

Have you ever just went to a store, wal-mart, and just tried on all the shoes you liked just to do it and not bought any of them?

Yesterday we went to wal-mart for no particular reason, I think because we were bored. I wondered off to the shoe department, and then decided I was going to try all the shoes I liked on. I was there for 30 - 45 mins just trying on different shoes, and noting which ones were lighter than my New Balance tennies I came in the store with.

There was one shoe if they had it in my size, they were marked down to , I would have gotten them. They were soo light, but too tight... needed a 1/2 size bigger.

My hubby just does not see why I need a new pair of shoes, because my shoes do not get wore out like his does, mine still look new. I try to explain to him even though they look new on the outside, in the inside they are wore out. Not wore out, but they hurt my feet and are no longer comfortable to me. So... when my shoes get like that I need a new pair of shoes.
It's called shopping. Hard to get good shoes.

Oh so that is how "shopping" is done.

Me I wait until it goes on sale or I do not get it at all. *shrugs shoulders*

About a year ago, I got a wild hair and decided to donate all the shoes that were not comfortable any longer, no matter how expensive they were. Since then, I think I have purchased about 30-40 pairs of new shoes. I try to get them at TJ Maxx or Ross. Hubby just rolls his eyes now when I bring a new pair home, lol... it is my weakness.

Even though my husband never says a word about me bringing home new shoes if I come home with them and he's home I leave them in the trunk and the next time he's out I sneak them in the closet.

I don't know why!  I LOVE SHOES!!!!!!!
