hi all i keep getting burning sensation in the hands and they turn bright
red-pink .. i allso have a feeling like someone is pulling the tendons from
inside my arm .. it gets very tight around my left elbow and wrists..
i was getting a lot of strange things going over a year ago before i restarted mtx
but while on mtx i was having a lot of chest infections and a lot of back pain so it was stopped
but along whith pred kept all the weird things at bay..
anyways anyone else getting this brightness of the skin..

It is also seen in patients with liver dysfunction. Palmar erythema may
also be the result of dermatoses such as eczema or psoriasis. It may
also be a normal finding. It has been attributed to high estrogen
levels. Palmar erythema occurs in about 30% of patients with rheumatoid
arthritis especially those with elevated hemoglobin levels [1].

seems like what i have.. i do have high blood pressure to. for the past 4mths.
and have just started ramipril ... i have been getting a tightness under my left
ribs for over 1 year now .. first gp said it was something to do whith ra and not a
problem.. now bp has gone up another gp has booked me for a scan ..
hmmm we shall see..

Hi, I've always had red palms my mom did also, no high blood pressure interesting the link to Ra. I have none of the sensations you have. hope they feel better.
