Dear old whipcracker PGR suggested I had jumped ship!  Not far from the truth.  I either fell or was pushed off the poopdeck and had a heck of a time getting back on board.  There is a Catch 22 in the forum such that you have to register again after the big forum update, and if you forget either your user name or password, it appears impossible to contact anyone.  I tried my email address somewhere in the process and was told it was already in use.

Now that I'm back, it's good to see the new crewmembers are hard at work even without the whipcracker.  The idea of collecting info on PMR from us and passing it on to the folks who are supposed to treat it is a great one. Especially to have a pro running the survey, which of course, has to be on a separate thread from the forum by rule.
I'm down to 4 1/2 mg of pred and a bit stiff and creaky by nothing to complain about.  There will be British Navy Rum and cheap cigars on the poop deck for all the new members after the days rowing on the good ship Prednisone. In the interim, I have to go dry off my clothes.

Hi Bob,
Glad you are drying out your clothes. I, too, had a hard time getting back on after the shut down. I thought the ship had hit shore, and everyone was tossed in the water.
It's nice to see that someone with a professional background is undertaking the survey to see what has developed in the years since this disease has shown up on the books.
Excuse me, but I thought you were the CAPTAIN and I am the WHIPCRACKER!!!n I also had a hard time returning - but here we are & I'm looking around for the liquer and cigars
