I stumbled on this from another site.  You guys may already know about it, and sorry if this has already been posted.  But it's new to me.  And if you haven't, go there and read the "spoon theory" written by a girl who has Lupus.  Quite good.

Thanks Melissa, this is one of the more important writings about autoimmune diseases.  It perfectly describes how one feels and is written so that family members and friends understand the disease process better and how it makes a person feel.  LindyI agree, Lindy that this is one of the most important bits of writing on auto immune disease. I actually print it out and give it to people. I sort of have an RA package of info I give to people whom I need to understand my situation. It includes the spoon theory story, my RA story and another article called, "What is it like to have RA?" I have given this package to Neve's school principal and teachers, the school guidance officer, my property management office...anyone who needs to grasp my situation.

Love, love, LOVE the spoon theory!
It's one of the best stories out there that really helps people understand.
Yep this has been up before but it never hurts to put such good things up for the newbies and us oldies with brain fog.
