OT - Prayers needed | Arthritis Information

There's the old saying which states, "in spite of your problems look around and you will quite likely see someone worse off than yourself."

Our 34-year old nephew has just been dxd with leukemia!! He's been feeling kinda punk the last couple of months but attributed it to the fact of having a new baby son. He's a terrific dad and has done his share of walking the floor at night, etc. However, he realized there could possibly be something else going on.

However, the dx of leukemia totally shocked him and has left the whole family in shock. He's already had a couple of blood transfusions and has six weeks of chemotherapy ahead of him.

So, it's one at a time and one step at a time for now. So I'm asking you pray for him and his family and for all who hold him close to their hearts.  Take Care
hi watchingwolf.  sorry to be reading this. i wonderd does he have chronic leukemia
as this is not the same illness as what young children have. and has a much slower
progression rate..  sorry not much help to you.

sending best wishes.  Boney

Of course we will.

God bless and i wish you well too.
Will be praying for them!!Me too.sending prayers. He's got my prayers. Having been down that road, I know it's no walk in the park. What a shock for him and his family. Having nearly lost my daughter 4 years ago, I can tell you that the power of prayer is mighty! I am not a religious person, don't go to church, but have a deep faith. It is awe-inspiring to witness this power in action.

Please know that you have my prayers and I know many, many others will keep you and your family in their prayers.

Gentle hugs, much love,
Nini
Oh how sad! I'll be praying for him and the whole family. That's quite an unfair blow to such a young man. God works in mysterious ways, he'll hear my prayers for them and you.I will be thinking of him.. thats so rough  to get that kind of news especially with a new baby..
To begin with, "Thank You! all for your prayers for our nephew - you all were so loud you without question got HIS attention.

My SIL, his mom, called just a short while ago with the test results AND THE NEWS IS GREAT!

He has been dxd with an acute type of leukemia which is quite treatable.  We all know he has quite an ordeal ahead of him yet but the doctors are so confident he'll be okay that we are all breathing a sigh of relief.

For sure the whole family will be checking out all info to be found on the web. We are a family computer geeks - in real life and at work.

Take Care Everyone - Gentle Hugs - Thank You All Again For The Prayers.  Luv U All

For sure our family prayers will be louder than yours! Prayers and candle lit... glad the news is good!!

lol about the contest :)
Whispered: - Thanks Great news!  Prayers will continue for your nephew, but right now I'm thanking God. :)
