Hi all...I am not happy with my current RD and am on the look for another one. I am in Washington, and the closest RD's to where I am are at least 2.5 hours away. I am wondering if anyone here is from Washington and if they know of any good RD's in the Seattle/Tacoma areas??
I have the most amazing RD! He works out of Olympia Arthritis Clinic, but comes to my town 1 1/2 hrs away one day per week. He even offered to drive here to my pharmacy one night when he got off work in Olympia because the pharmacy screwed up and wouldn't fill a class 2 script for me. (they misplaced the hard copy script my doc wrote). Anyway, he is young and fresh and listens to me, and not just the labs. His name is Dr. Choe, pronounced "Chea".
My RD is in the Tacoma area. I have been seeing her for about 4 years and have been so happy with her care. She is a true partner with me in fighting RA. She takes her time with me and really listens to me in regards to how I am feeling. Her name is DR Ahmad at St Josephs medical center. Best of luck in finding a great RD for you.
