We feel just like a dead tree.

hi stephen great pics.. i love the autmn winter time.. allthough
the trees release there leaves in the autumn . it then shows there true
selves and sometimes amazing forms..
stand proud.. Those pictures are amazing . I always look forward to when you post your

pics. Thank you!!
The trees remind me of some of us,  we don't bend to life the way we used to.
Like the trees that can still offer a perch to the birds, we can still lend an ear to help other travelers on their way.
Love it! :)Very well said.

Lovely photos and words Bodak

Brings to mind that old phrase - Happiness is, something to do, something to look forward to and someone to love.

I need lots of colour around me to keep me feeling good.  I'm a dab hand with a paint brush and since getting the use of my hands back last November, have enjoyed sprucing up the woodwork in the bathroom and living areas.  The rest of my bod. isn't as flexible as my 'new' hands so I have to make a concerted effort to limit my painting sessions.   Hubby has to do any sanding then I take over the job.

Stephen, your pictures always make my day. Knowing what a gnarled old tree feels like at my young age definitely builds character.

Nice cows too!
_popupControl(); Here's my musing on your photo:

Though not as glorious as in its days of green splendor, it stands strong, a testament to its perserverance to touch the sky.

Thanks for your inspirational photos and words, a great way to begin a Sunday morning.
