I finally got my CT scan, awaiting results. Daughter is in  what we call "launch mode", the baby is in position and she has started to drop, and she is NOT COMFORTABLE at all.

I think she is going to go early "May baby" rather than June....we will see what the baby decides to do...lol She got all her hair cut off short, it feels so much better she says.

They went away for a one nights' stay at a beach resort in South Haven, honeymoon sweet and the weather was beautiful. THey were on the beach and her bfriend dropped down on one knee....and proposed to her. He proposed on their second anniversay of dating. The ring is magnificent!  It  was so romantic!  SO now we are also planning non other than a "beach  wedding" some time in the summer next year.....maybe July.

My RD appt in Indiana is in the latter part of May and my daughter is scared she will go into labor while I am gone....( just 200 miles away). SHe wants me right with her. So I may have to see if the RD has anything sooner.

We picked out the material for curtains and matching rocker pad for the nursery, so I have been busy designing and sewing. Mother gave her a beautiful oak glider. I am also working on 2 baby quilts, plus was going to the "y" swimming till I got swimmers ear and had eye trouble form the chlorine.

SO I have been busy. The weather here is freezing one day, hot the next....it is almost like "mother nature hotflashes" lol. It is good to see everything in bloom even though my allergies are going nutzo!

Oh and yes...MS. Anal Retentive here has been studying labor and birth cause I adopted and had no clue, just what I learned in college. SO I am studying Emergency Birth, just in case and so I know what to watch for so I can reassure her.

Being busy helps with the pain, but mostly it is the water that helps the most and the increase in Vit D.

Hope all are doing well. Finally spring is here!

wow babs.

well just for your information, I amfriends with my RD, been with him since 1991, doc hopped only 2 times briefly when I moved.

Actually it is convenience and safety for my daughter and myself. If I am unable to get an earlier appt. I will have to go, but will not stay with friends this time, I will just drive there and back. It is a concern though, afterall I ...... "I" will not be comfortable being that far away from her. I guess it is different when you have a daughter.....and you are close to her and have a good solid relationship.

HEr fiance' works nights and I cherish the time I will be able to be with my grandchild.I see nothing wrong with her wanting that....and it may change, I may be over there, she wants her mom near her.

My father died 3 weeks before my daughter came along so I know the value. 3 weeks. Then we got the phone call that she was available. My husband, son and I barely had time to grieve the death of my father and we were all very close. He missed the last grandchild born to his family and the one he talked about so much ( other than my son) before he died. Like I said, I will cherish this time, perhaps differntly than most people.

I am fotunate I live near my grandchild  and that my daughter wants me to be a huge part of her family's life. And I am thrilled about this baby and happy for my daughter, and so are my friends.

Well I am  off to design amd sew the nursery curtains!

And yes, the water fitness helps. I was told by 2 Dr.'s it is good for me and easy on the joints.
