I thought this might be of intrest to some. I saw this once before when the "talk" of aspirating my knee came up. But I could not find, and now I have and was not even looking for it.

thanks joonie..
this was very interesting to me since I was DX'd in this manner.. since I am sero-negative..

What do you mean Babs? They drained a joint and tested the fluid? I don't understand.

That was a big factor in my dx too.   Had to do with a really high white count in the fluid, but with no infection. What did you guys have drained?

I have fluid around my knee that's built up and collected behind my knee (Baker's Cyst) and my doctor mentioned draining it if we couldn't get it to go down with cortisone injections. Is this the type of fluid you guys had tested?

Sounds really painful to me....I'm in no hurry to have it done.

That is why I was no so keen on getting my knee aspirated.... just sounded and looked painful. And after have the goiter on my thyroid aspirated... I know for a fact getting my need aspirated is not going to be a piece of cake.... walk in the park. Yeah, I no....I thikn I'll just go into it blindly if I have to. Sometimes I can get so worked up worrying about something and it's often for nothing. I think I'll skip the video. I do not think I want to see a syringe full of green stuff being drawn out of my knee!
