thanks for the support.

Do your symptoms get better as the day goes on.  my hands don't fall asleep unless i'm sleeping.  stiffness gets better as the day goes on.  are the hands falling asleep several times a night a symptom of RA.  its seems to be my pinky and ring finger mostly.  can anyone explain.  thanks again, jason

That's classic RA symptoms there Jason.

My doctor always determinds how bad I am at the moment by how long the morning stiffness last. That's not to say the evenings are bad at times....but mornings the worst.

My hands will do the same things even now occationally, but at first it was exactly as you describe. Then it got worse and it no longer felt like they were asleep which is sometimes painful and very disturbing....but it became very, very painful. As if every bone in my hand was breaking as I tried to move them.

oh yeah, does anyone have hip or lower back pain.  my buttocks kills me when i sit for to long.  sitting hurts me all the time, especially in cars.

Yep.

You wanna be in our club Jason?

Lovie38603.403287037Jayboy, I also have problems with my arms and hands falling asleep in the night.  I'm not sure if that is an RA problem or not but it happens every once in a while.  Since I've been on pred and mtx, that problem had receeded to the background and only occasionally rears its ugly head.
