When my brain stops creating then I might as well not be here.
Through out my 18 months of RA there has been one constant.

My brain has continued to function and keep searching for reason, reason to be, reason as to why me.
When I cannot or will not except the facts, I turn to creative thoughts which in turn,   turns my attention to understanding who I am, .... my core.

It is creation that keeps me going, imagination that keeps me young.

When taking this image I was drawn to the flowing lines that nature was displaying.
In reviewing the image on the PC I was left wondering what really attracted my attention in the first place.
Would others appreciate the flowing lines.
I know that there would be a strong reason for the image but it was not doing it for me.

I turned the image into black and white and for some reason the plant now took on the look of a water fountain.
In your minds eye, can you see a water fountain in the Black and white version.
You have to use your imagination for this.

Stephen, Like you, my creativity has kept me going.  My body may not function as well as I would like but my creative brain is stronger than ever.  The more chaos that flows through my body the more creativity that flows from my brain.  Sometimes I can't stop it.

An interesting picture.  Without it's surroundings in the last photo you can't tell that it was only a bush.  It appears to have gone from a beautiful, symetric bush to a blaze of fireworkds.   Lindy
Well, Stephen...you are thinking deeply as usual. I truly find anything you post, creative and fabulous to read and think about. I am so glad we are blessed with creative and deep people like you and Alan on this board who share your thoughts and ideas with us. Posts like this really keep me going since I am a 'thinker' too and creative also.

I always think it is a good idea to turn RA around and upside down and see what can be learned from looking at it from all different angles.

Please keep posting...I need the inspiration as I am sure many many others here do as well. Thanks Cords.

es, it can be that way and it's good that you are like that.
Have you a particular interest. ?
I know it will be here somewhere but am lazy to search.
Stephen, LinB is a painter/artist. Her art has helped her through a lot from what I know but I am sure she will answer if she sees your question.  [QUOTE=Cordelia]Stephen, LinB is a painter/artist. Thanks for that, I'd be interested to see whether Lin has a web site or the like to take a small peek into her creative soul.
Bodak2008-05-01 16:37:49Stephen, THANKYOU, keep up your creative side as those of us who would like to be creative but just aren't really appreciate it, and I find it truly inspiring, hugs Janie.
Ty for posting some more of your creativity to brighten up our day.
lorrie2008-11-23 04:59:43Beautiful. Thanks for the uplifting post. Stephen: Lorrie expressed my thoughts perfectly: "Ty for posting some more of your creativity to brighten up our day.  Some have the gift, others like me are your 'audience' to enjoy and appreciate."

Although it's just the two of us now I still enjoy creating/trying new recipes.

My current endeavor hasn't anything to do with cooking though. My free time is being spent writing a memory book about my beloved friend/companion, Baby Bear. She had reached the age of 18-years old and it was obvious her quality of life had deteriorated dramatically in the weeks before. The decision to put her to sleep wasn't really difficult BUT still I miss her so.
