Hi good pmr friends!

I just got tickets to visit my children who are going to school overseas..even got ahold of some buddy passes so i could fly business without aching for hours and hours.

any of you leave on long air flights? any suggestions?

my emotions are all over the map and anxiety is high..know it is the pred and pmr..whichever comes first the chicken or the egg..even got on some effexor..which has made me less blue..taking a small dose..but the anxiety..wooo..all this from a gal who travels all the time..and suddenly feels nervous

anyhow..leaving next week..and if anyone has anything to say..i am all ears..know that this lady here is sooo grateful for ALL of you! i read you all daily and it HELPS soo much
cathi
Cathi,  I've flown transatlantic recentlly without problems other than a tendency to get a sore back end.  I didn't change my pred dose for the trip.  Great that you can go business class.  Even so, get up and move a lot.  If you're like me, I get stiff if I sit still for any length of time.  No need to feel nervous.  Enjoy your trip!Cathi,
Enjoy your visit with your kids.  The extra anxiety is probably coming from the steroids.  I would wrestle a dragon without much thought before.  Now, I find myself waking up feeling like that in the mornings when the prednisone level is dropping off.  I also notice it in the afternoon right before my afternoon dose is due.  I"m more emotional.  A new one for me.

Patience and emotions bouncing all over the place.  Hubby heads to the next room before
lightening strikes.  Add pain and frustration to the mix and you know the rest.  I'd get a good book and take few trips to the bathroom.
