OT - post-epidural instructions-little laugh | Arthritis Information

Today I had my second lumbar epidural, this time with very comforting mild sedation, so it was at a surgical center.  Now as anyone who has ever had anethesia of any kind can probably attest, they make you sign a ton of papers to cover their legal butts.  Well when they gave me the discharge instruction (in other words, after they had already sedated me and I was coherent again), they told me the typical "no heavy machinery" bit, but also said not to sign legal documents for the next 24 hours.  I'd never heard that one before, but ok, it makes sense.

So what do they do next?  Ask me to sign a legal document saying they gave me the discharge instructions. Ok... are they on crack? LOL!

3 laughs for the price of 1!

(although I don't think I like the idea of a bunch of crack-heads, staring at my crack while they play with needles in my spinal cord)
