How to use Your IRS Rebate check...

As you may have heard, most of us will be getting a tax rebate check
to stimulate the economy.

If we spend that money at Wal-Mart, all the money will go to China.
If we spend it on gasoline it will go to the Arabs.
If we purchase a computer it will go to India.
If we purchase fruits and vegetables, it will go to Mexico, Honduras, and
Guatemala.
If we purchase a good car, it will go to Japan.
If we purchase useless stuff, it will go to Taiwan

and none of it will help the American economy.

We need to keep that money here in America.

The only way to keep that money here at home is to spend it at yard sales,
since those are the only businesses still in the US!

My 8-year old Saturn (120000 miles) was built in Spring Hill, Tennessee. I've not had any problems with it. my toyota was built in georgetown kentucky, my previous car was a ford built in mexico..which car helps the US economy moreI sure hope I can use mine towards a new granite/granite look kitchen counter top. I've been putting myself last on the list for so long...I'm tired of propping a sponge up against my formica back splash to hide the broken piece.

Son decided to just drive his car with the quirky transmission til it goes kaput. So I can rob Peter to pay Paul later down the road. I had thought I would need to lend him my stimulus check...if I spend it quick enough....

I am using mine to pay a local girl to weed my garden for me since I can no longer do it! i dont get any cash Spend it at the local farmer's market. Support local, small farmers that grow quality food.

Spend it at a small, neighborhood store trying to survive in the shadow of big box stores.

Donate it to a local food bank, thats trying to help those worse off than us.

Put it in your savings or pay down a high interest rate credit card. Much of ours will be going into a bit of much needed redecorating. Nothing elaborate just paint for a couple of rooms and fabric for window coverings. All product labels are checked to be sure they are American Made. New Box Spring and Mattress..USA madeJust thought this was of use to some. Not sure if ya'll seen it. It is the payment schedule for when you "should" receive your refund.

This is what we are planing to do . There are so many farmers markets

around right now. pies ,jellys, the homemade canned veggies and fruits.

Mmmmmm !! Now I'm hungry again!!
