Alphasmart | Arthritis Information

For ages now...my intuition has been prodding me to post this and I keep ignoring it. Like the rest of me, however, my intuition is a persistent, stubborn thing so I am now doing as I am told.

I am wondering if anyone here has an Alphasmart they don't want or use anymore????

An Alphasmart is a small (book size) word processor unit that can then be hooked up to a computer for then work that has been typed in, to download. It's very portable, runs on a ordinary battery and light.

Whenever I think about getting one, my intuition tells me to post it on here in case someone has one they no longer are wanting or needing.

Being a writer, an Alphasmart would be brilliant for me as often I cannot do writing bits I want due to not being able to sit at the computer. I could use an Alphasmart in my recliner or from bed, if I am really unwell and then download the information later onto my desktop computer. My creativity is frustrated at the moment as often I can't use a pen to write in my recliner or bed because of the RA and I have no other portable machine or way to do it.

If any of this clicks with you, let me know. I just thought it was worth asking the AI family as that stubborn intuition kept going on about it. Oooh, thanks SnowOwl, all ideas are helpful. I shall check E-bay out.  Gee, I had to look it up on the net to find out what it was.
Seems there are two types...................

But no, I don't have one..  I'm still a bit dopey from the poppie nap.
Gotta watch those poppie naps, Stephen...poor old fella you are.
