Printing replies to take to Rheumy | Arthritis Information

Please help.  I have noticed everywhere that testing positive, especially hight positive for anti-ccp is a marker of more erosive disease.  My Rheumy will not accept this test.  Can everyone who has had it done and tested positive or who has any contribution to make, PLEASE, PLEASE reply because I am printing this out and taking it to his office on Monday,  thanks for your help. Julie,  My very respected rheumatologist said that a high anti-ccp confirms you have ra.  I don't know about it being a marker for the most erosive.  I do have aggressive ra and I am being put on biologics.  I was only diagnosed last May.  I hope you can get treatment soon as my ra has already profoundly effected my quality of life in just a few short months.Julie, maybe you should do a search on line for information about the Anti CCP test, and print out those pages, he may be more willing to appreciate the point of view of professionals rather than those of what is basically a support group, you know what I mean? I know that these people are BRILLIANT, but "the others" never seem to get it. I've posted him info but he doesn't take it seriously - that's why I want to show him that real people have had this test done by real rheumatologists - god, desperate times eh?
