the song of "My Boney Lies Over The Ocean?"
That's funny !!

Isn't that an old Beetles song??
It's an oldie, and I must be too, to know that..  Sang it as a kid.  The first verse and refrain:
My Bonnie lies over the ocean
My Bonnie lies over the sea
My Bonnie lies over the ocean
Oh bring back my Bonnie to me
Bring back, bring back
Bring back my Bonnie to me, to me
Bring back, bring back
Bring back my Bonnie to me

LOL Watchingwolf!!!! Cute Yes I remember....piano lessons, always had to play it!When I was a little kid I had a babysitter, Mrs. Rollins, and she always used to sing that song.  Thanks for the great ememory, I doubt I would have ever thought about that again.  I loved Mrs. Rollins.I always sing this with "my body".  I also sing "Pain Pain go away, come back again never and a day" lolhi watchingwolf.. i do beleive this song was sung by

R.A and the Boney etts.. and went like this.

old Boney lives over the ocean
old Boney lives over the sea
i consider myself real lucky
as he lives so darn faaar from me..

sooo throw back.. throw back
throw back that Boney to the sea..
 to the sea..
throw back.. throw back..
and keep that old Boney
from me...

Now Boney lies under the ocean
poor Boney lies under the sea
he got into trouble swimming
because of his arthritic knee

sooo throw back.. throw back
throw back that Boney to the sea
to the sea.
and keep that old Boney
from me..

old Boney he was a   survivour
old Boney would not stay down
old Boney walked the ocean
and strolled into watching wolfs town.

she said. throw back throw back
throw back old Boney to the sea
the sea
throw back.. throw back and keep
that old Boney from me...

TOO FUNNY!!!!Boney: Perhaps we are a bit older than some on the board BUT WE CERTAINLY AREN'T OLD!

The second verse of the "original" goes like this:

Last night as I lay on my pillow
Last night as I lay on my bed
I stuck my feet out the window
Next morning my neighbors were dead.

Followed by the chorus.
