For the last few days, I am always cracking my back (put my shoulder blades together and CRACK, CRACK, CRACK....all down my spine!! It relieves some of the tension in my back, but then about 10 minutes later it's back....CRACK, CRACK, CRACK again...all better, and so on, and so on. Anyone else have this, and is it a BAD thing to do? I don't think I could stop even if I had to at this point, it's horrible! Should I let the Dr. know about it, or accept it as part of RA or even just a coincidence???? Sorry for all the ???'s, this has been bugging me! Thanks.....Staci

Hi Staci,

Sounds like tension to me. If I put my shoulder blades together it will crack a bit in my neck and sometimes in my back but I only notice it when I am really tense.  Are you having pain there as well?  Try to really relax your back and see if it still does it as bad.  Hope this helps.

Jackie
