OT: Pictures and girlfriends wedding update | Arthritis Information

Some of you may remember me talking about being a bridesmaid in my girlfriends wedding, well it was this past weekend.  I was anxious about fitting into my dress, which I did and about how I was going to feel physically, which was relatively ok-thanks to starting steroids the previous week again and getting my remicade infusion last Thursday.

It was a long day, we got to the brides house at 9am to start getting ready.  We had a girl doing our hair and one doing our make-up!  The ceremony was short and sweet!  The dinner was good.  Drank just enough booze to ease the pain and be happy but not so much that I was too hung over or did anything embarrassing!  LOL!!

I am still exhausted but that's to be expected.  I stopped the steroids Saturday so hopefully I don't go into a big flare, I am hoping to avoid that since I just had the remicade.  I am sore all over but my feet/ankles and my chest are the worse.  I am having a real hard time breathing so I know the sarc is still growing in there.  Hopefully the remicade will start killing it soon!

Anyway, here are a few pictures.  I made the jewelry that us girls are wearing so be sure to check that out!

At the church, side profile not the most flattering but.....
You look beautiful!  And looks like the weather was nice, and everyone had a fun time (I see lots of happy smiles!).  Take care. you look terrific.. that blue makes your eyes stand out with your gorgeous hair color..  a great color for you!!

the necklaces are very nice!!  I agree with Babs...the blue really brings out the colour in your eyes!  You look beautiful!!
The jewelry looks great with the dress!  Nice job!
Thanks girls!  It felt nice to get all dolled up for the day!  I did actually feel pretty for once, despite being bigger than I like!

At first the bride wanted us to wear Yellow! Now, don't get me wrong, I love the color yellow, just not on me!  All the other girls pitched a fit, I didn't say I word, just went with her to the dress shop and put on the yellow dress and walked out of the fitting room.  The bride was trying to hide her laughter before she said, ok you look ILL in that color, go take it off!  I liked the marine blue the we ended up with!
Wow, I just noticed too that the make-up girl hid the scar on my neck very well, you can't even see it in the pictures!!  I forgot that she covered it up! Micheleb, you look beautiful and healthy. I don't think you need to lose anymore. Thanks Lorster.   Before I got sick, I was 128-135 pounds!  I topped out recently at 202, I am running about 185 at the moment.  I would be really happy if I could hit 150.  I don't need to be really skinny but I still feel too heavy where I am.  I think my hips and ankles would be happier as well! Awww.. how prettay! Love the color of the dress! brings out the color of your eyes & hair!Great pics and good to see happy faces first up in the morning. hi micheleb  you look Great.. Thanks Joonie, Stephan and Boney!  Yes, it was a good day for smiles, all in all, it was a lovely wedding!  They spent a LOT more money than I ever would have but its what they wanted!!  Its amazing what everything costs, not just gas and milk! You look beautiful!  Congratulations on your weight loss progress, be proud of your success.  I wish I was a photogenic.  I'm glad you had a good time.

Michele I loved the photo's, you have lost so much weight and look so pretty in that colour. Glad you had fun

Thanks everyone for the kind words, sure does boast a girls self esteem!  Honestly, I a NOT usually photogenic at all, its just really good make-up!!  Its funny but I think I only own one shirt in that color of blue, I will definitely have to buy it more often!! You do look so pretty! And if you are trying to eat and live healthy then that is all you can do and don't worry about the weight. You may weigh more than you want but you look great.  I'm glad you felt good and had fun. Wow!! You look great. I havent been on the board for awhile and I am glad to see you are doing so much better. "You are gorgeous!" Love the accessories.  Also, you have no idea how much you look like one of my favorite cousins - in your first picture you look exactly like her from the side!
