Fibro -- Let's Share | Arthritis Information

I was trying to go to sleep last night and I was thinking maybe it would be good for some to share some tidbits of information on Fibromyalgia that they have incountered. And to hopefully help some with "mysterious" pains & problems. I know I am having a hard time figuring out what is fibro & RA. As well as being told it is Fibro, but still not quite convinced that it is, until it is done and over with and then I can see how it was Fibro.

Here it goes:

I have realized that Fibro is not symmeterical like RA is. With me my RA symmeterical in swelling and pain, but one side is worse off than the other, my right side.

Fibro does not cause swelling of the joints.

If I use my arms too much or sitting too long my shoulder blades will burn like they have a sunburn on them and if I do not rest the burn gets worse.

I am now convienced... that Fibro does give me migraines. Yesterday while sitting the to room waiting for RD there was information about migraines posted on the wall; I read it and well... The symptoms for migraines are of what I get. Ok... so maybe I was wrong to "argue" with a professional that it was just my neck muscles tightening up, and not a migraine. But like I said I have always gotten those types of "headaches" since I was a teenager, and I believe I did not have Fibro then.

Well that is all I got for right now. I am sure I am still not putting 2 & 2 together and making the connection just yet.

My body gets sore to the touch. If someone lightly touches me it will ache for hours & be sore for days. Feeling like someone punched me, when all they did was touch me.
