I had strep and bronchitis, broke a tooth on a cough drop. Took Cipro for eleven days. Kept hearing antibiotic resistant infection. The hospital then refused to give me antibiotics thinking they could forse me to make a dentist see me sooner. As if i have any say in the issue.

So i go to an Oral Surgen. Get a full mouth exray. Ha, ha, was on so much pain meds i did not realize my pony tail had metal in the band. Luckily it only made the underwire in my bra come out. LOL Anyway so i go for one tooth and she says the tooth i had been going to dentist and docs for the past eight months needed to come out. Thats how it works. If i had gone for that tooth it would probably be still in my mouth. I got it out today. Horray. I still have of course the broken tooth i went to see her for still in my mouth. So still the battle continues. And my ear, my poor ear has a lump in the tube an infection.

I am still at my brothers. He is a sweety. My RA is bad. We go for a walk every day, so i am at least keeping active. I just was on so much pain meds for the teeth that i am able to walk. Argg could not work so well on all the pain meds.

My dad is better but he got hit by a van. It threw him five feet. When he first told us about an earthquake we thought he was having a sezure. He had really bad mental confusion from getting hit in the head by a van as i am sure you can imagine. He is doing better. I was able to send him to my neurologist to get a head checked out. I had been trying to get him to go for his Parkinsanism for the past three or four years. So he is getting treatment for that now.

Well i am still sick but at least a little better. I was watching Mystery Diagnoses and the show on Sjorgrens. It was just like it was about me. I immediately new what she had. They told her she was crazy and she moved to Florida. I mean it was like to much like me it was like everything about this lady was the same as me. Why do dentist and doctors want to tell people they are nuts for wanting to feel better. Anyway the old tooth decided to really act up while i was on Cipro. It swelled up good and big you couldn't miss it. Not a sinus problem. One day at a time.

My knees are bigger than they have ever been. But they hurt less. Go figure. I guess my sedrate is really elevated the ER doc said. He did not say how much and i have not gone to retrieve the paper work. I was more concerned with my white count at the time, which he said was also pretty high but he did not give me a number. Anyway i had not been on the board i could not see because i think the infection or RA or swelling made my vision to blurry. I took Clindamyicin. I am scared of this med because a friend of mine got the dreaded side effect and is dead. My chioces are so limited do allergies so i risked it. Lots of probiotics for sure. Lots of different kinds of probiotics.
OMG Milly!

I was getting worried about you and now I see that I had good reason!

And I had to laugh when I got to the part about the probiotics - you do know how I think, don't you!

Ok, on the plus side, many AP docs use Clindy as a choice for AP.  And you may not consider yourself an APer, girl, but you've been on a ton of antibiotics for a long time and that might be why you keep swinging back and forth.

Hugs,

Pip
P.S.  Good to see the Clindy didn't hurt you!  For most people, it's a lifesaver.  I'm sorry about your loss of your friend.

Wow! Milly!!!

I was wondering where you went off and hid at, but now I see you had a lot going on.

I hope you & your dad get better soon.

Missed ya!

Hugs!
Milly...I also was wondering what happened to you.  I'm glad your back but I'll admit it was nice to think you were doing so well you didn't have time for the board.
You've really been through the wringer, girl!  Didn't I command you MONTHS ago to get better?  Still waiting..........

My prayers are with ya, and for ya my friend.
