Cuz of my allergy to dairy, there aren't non-dairy cakes here, but i have a store that it's a low ingredient on the list, they use soy etc. along with it and the frosting is dairy free and super silky, it's our favorite frosting on a cake.
So, when a birthday comes, that is the only cake place i will eat from, i usually only get hives from it.
But, it comes in all sorts of flavors, I prefer lemon and lemon frosting yum yum yum yum :)
I a sure you can talk her into cake. The cinnamon toast crunch does not sound so bad! All we's got is corn flakes (without sugar). LOL!
Hey! If I am in my bed watching tv and eating M&M's or boston baked beans... then run out... I always check the bed for strays! Not many escape, but some do. I have to say......I haven't met a cookie I didn't like. LOLAll that hype about hubby's B-day cake... and I did not even enjoy it! I ate one small piece!
It was because I felt cruddy, from lack of sleep and being full from dinner.
Oh well... there is always tomorrow to enjoy the cake.
This is the cake I decorated for the wedding yesterday. It was a scrumptious chocolate, gluten free cake with white chocolate icing and white chocolate shards. It was FABULOUS, sorry, don't have any extra peices.

My daughter baked choc chip cookies and choc cookies with peanut butter chips today! SO goey and yummy warm out of the oven. Her and son even did dishes! Hubby cleaned tub and kids cooked dinner! It's been a good Mother's Day!
It did get cut and eaten. The bride is celiac so that is why it was gluten free. But it was so moist and chocolatey it was amazing. I'll have to find out who made it. It was dropped off at my house at 9 in the morning when the wedding was still in doubt. I got the OK to decorate it at 12 noon. The bride was in hospital in CCU with acidosis due to throwing up and diabetes for a couple of days. They let her out for 4 hours. She is still in hospital but hopes to get out today or tomorrow. It was a fabulous day and everyone was so happy that she could be there. The bride is the daughter of my best friend. Needless to say the poor mother of the bride had a harrowing few days and is very glad everything has worked out.
You can see the IV bung still in her hand, they hooked her up when she went back to hospital after their first dance.
this is the happy new family, they did things a bit back to front but they are still a lovely little family and we love them dearly. The baby's name is Trinity Annabelle.
