Need a quick answer | Arthritis Information

I screwed up!  I'm having oral surgery tomorrow, (Thursday).  I took my Humira
on Sunday, and I'm due for my MTX tomorrow night.  All of a sudden I thought
I should run it by the old rheumy and ask if I should take MTX after surgery.

Well....the answer was NO.  He also said I shouldn't have taken my Humira on
Sunday if I was going to have surgery on Thursday.

Am I being a big ass if I go through with surgery tomorrow anyway?  It's just
a gum graft.  (I say "just", haven't done it before so I'm thinking it's not a huge
deal")

Anyway, I'm asking the experts, lol...you guys.  Should I go through with it even
though I did the Humira 4 days ago?  I'll definitely skip the MTX this week but
I'm already dreading that.
I would trust your instincts...they are you're best measure of everything where your health is concerned. If you feel okay to go ahead and do it, then do.  It's just going to slow the healing time....I think.

I'll be anxious to hear how the gum graft goes. I might have one of those in my future as well. Sure sounds horrible!

Hope everything is going well today.
Ok, did the surgery.  It's not too bad going through it, just a tad uncomfortable.  The worst part for me was seeing the thread come up and down in my mouth while he was stiching it. that kind of grossed me out.

Anyway - It's Saturday, had it on Thursday and I look like a chipmunk.  I think part of it is that I didn't have my MTX on Thursday and I'm swollen everywhere.  Must say, the stiffness pain are screaming....
