IV Prednisone? | Arthritis Information

Well, it is looking like I am going to be put in hospital on IV Prednisone to try and get this flare under control. I am on oral 100mg but I think tomorrow afternoon it will be off to hospital.

Anyone else been through this???

Hi Cords, I had it when I had an acute chest infection as breathing was affected, it cleared it up much quicker. Good luck, Janie. Wow- I never even heard of it- sounds intense.

Sure hope it does the trick, try to get some rest and heal.

How is Nevie going Cords? I bet she's having a ball. Try not to worry, take advantage of your time on your own, this is what you need, complete rest, I hope you are feeling better real soon, love Janie. She is having a ball, Janie but also missing me terribly. The school families taking care of her are organising her to have short visits with me as she is missing me so much. I saw her this morning she gave me a picture it had taken her two nights to draw for me. Thankfully, due to the school families helping, I have not had to resort to foster care yet.

Thank you, each one of you. The prayers are especially needed. When your doctors don't really know what the heck to do, prayer becomes kinda essential. I had an email from Cords this morning, it seems things are no better.
Girl friend coming around to get her off to Hospital, oh, and to do her hair.
Seems a girl has to have her hair done, something she cannot manage at the moment..
