my buddies on this site say i have classic RA symtoms. of course, i'm up at 4am today.
what other disease can cause the classic symptoms of RA. i'm sick of taking hydrocodone and percocet for pain. plagued by lower back problems and post surgery. now it seems like every joint in my body hurts in the morning. and no energy during the day. just venting. I hope everyone is doing well. jason

When I first started posted here back in July I just knew I had RA.I had gotten really sick,severe fatigue,awful body and joint pain,brain fog,it was very rough and lasted a week.Got a just a bit better and I had another flare just not as severe.But the joint pain continued to spread from wrists,ankles,fingers,hips and especially my ribs and sternum on and those ever nagging headaches.
I had the bloodwork done to check for RA,Lupus, several thingsAll came back normal.
I was able to get in quickly to my reheumy thanks to my orthopedic who I went for to help with this pain in my ribs that wa and still is killing me.I even went to the er for this pain.All the pain meds and muscle relaxers did was make me loopy.My best friend is a heating pad and one of those big body pillows to put be hind my back while resting on the hitting pad.As long as I don't move I am ok.
Reheumy said that my exercise routine was probably what brought on the flare.I was hot and heavy into exercising.
Currently I am on Ultram 100mg twice a day.I wish I could take them 3 times a day.They take a very slight edge off or maybe it is just my wishful thinking.But they do make me feel better as far as that flu feeling I had before.
Yesterday and the day before I have been doing some stuff I haven't been able to do in a month.I walked Thurs,did some woodworking in the shop,yesterday I painted a very beautiful verse from a song I love on my kitchen wall and did some dry flower arrangments.All the normal stuff I do including house cleaning stuff.
Well, saying all of that,I know feel like I can barely walk,my ankles hurt and are really stiff,my arms hurt just from holding up the paint brush and painting.I even had to lay down for about an hour an a half yeasterday just due to this overwhelming fatgiue.All brought on from just doing normal things.
I was told I have Fybromyalgia.
I still have more bloodwork due in 2 weeks.
Fibro. is very painful and some here have it.I never knew how painful it could be even though I have a daughter that has this and chronic fatigue.
I hope that you will get an answer to your questions.When our bodies are not doing what they should it is so frustrating to get some kind of answer especially in reheumatology.My dr. said it sometimes take yeas to get dx. And I know some here have been down that path too.
