little guy was in hospital | Arthritis Information
hi all my little mate 2yrs old managed to get a hold of a bottle
of aftershave and drunk some .. he was taken into hospital last night
he collapsed on the floor .. hospital took bloods and contacted
toxic poison centre.. after 4 hrs he was perking up all bloods were
clear. poison centre said if he was going to be seriously il it would be
in the first 3-4 hrs .. after another hour he was up and running..
hospital sent him home. he is perfectly fine now.. scarey night.
the strange thing was during this time of stress my ra was
booted into touch. must have been adrenaline rush..
it has returned now..

My youngest son chugged a bottle of children's ibuprofen when he was 2. Knucklehead. Everything turned out fine... ibuprofen is one of the more non-toxic items in the drug cabinet.
Whew! glad your little guy is okay!!
Isn't it amazing how our bodies can come to light when most needed?

aftershave contains alchahol .. meant to say that in my post..
it is the alchohol that had the impact on him..

Wow that's scary! Glad everything turned out alright. It's no fun to have the RA back, but at least it didn't get worse during the stress when you needed to take control of the situation. Now rest up, both of you!Happy to hear he is doing ok.
My son when he was 2 ate underarm deoderant a couple of times.
And just the other day.... he tried to shave his face and cut his chin. He was taking a shower and some how got ahold of my razor that was put up high.
Yeah... I never had problems with my daughter eating things like I do my son. Boys are strange!

I'm really glad that he's ok, thats soo scary..
To give you a chuckle, when i was little , under 5, i used to watch my dad shave every morning.. so one day, i took his razor and just started shaving, my cheeks, i was fine, until i looked into the mirror and saw all the blood!!!
my mom is/ was a nurse.. and for some reason, i was fine, didn't have to go to the hospital (not that i remember).. but
i do attribute it to giving me good skin, lOL
so put your razor high up and away!!

dad doesnt bother to much and he is kind of like my own.. all my ones
