Suzanne, thanks for sharing this. It is indeed very interesting. I was employed by an internist for 15 years and he never expected to get paid for phone calls, etc. I made most of the phone calls and did most of the paperwork. Those that could pay cash did and I sent in their medicare form for them and they were reimbursed. That way the doc made a few extra dollars. Things have certainly changed!
