hey everyone, i was just wondering if any one else is going through chemo -- specifically rixtuxin -- to battle RA. I've gotten the infusion twice, and still waiting on my third dose -- which is three months too late because my doctors keep messing up with communication.
anyway, i wanted to know your experiences and if it helps to actually stop the pain... it was almost my death the first time i got it infused because they did it too quickly. i have a 75 mcg/hr fentanyl and 7.5/100 mg percocet tablets for pain, but it's not cutting it (not to mention the frequent IV hydromorphone injections). :( i hope whenever i get my rituxin, it'll stop the pain so i get off these heavy narcotics...
what side effects have you experience? is hair loss a problem? i'm already getting it from the rainbow of drugs i'm on.
