alternative crohn's treatment? | Arthritis Information

I was wondering if anyone with crohn's had any ideas for natural treatments with herbs or anything.

I have two people in my family with it and could use some advice.

Also, without my prenisone, i am having the symptoms of it which i always forget i have until they take my pred away. I get (if you don't want potty talk, don't read further), but i get blood on the TP paper, but none in the stool so far and horrible horrible horrible pains in lower front right side of what feels like the uterus. This always happens when not on pred.

I told my rhummy before about it and she just said humm.

But, i might try alternate treatments too to see if it helps. My uncle and grandma both have horrible crohn's disease and my grandma is having quite a bit of trouble.

Have you thought about lurking on the Roadback. I know you can't do a lot of the antibiotics, but there is a ton of info on natural antivirals and antibioitics that some add to their regime. Everytime somebody suggest something, you could 'google it' with Chron's and see if there is any research to connect the two.
