GOD  BLESS America

I was just thinking about all of the poor people who died 4 year ago. My thoughts are with their families today! GOD BLESS!Me too - I was awake at 4am this morning thinking of everyone.  I have been praying for the families and friends today and always.  GOD BLESS! I can't believe that it has been 4 years already---to me it seems like yesterday.  The Twin Towers were the first thing I saw everyday as I left my house and the fact that they no longer exist still stuns and amazes me.  The 9/11 tragedy is the only thing that made me want to leave WY and go "home", even though there would have been nothing that I could have done to help.   It is unfortunate that people are forgetting the unity that we all had back then----NEVER FORGET!   The lunatics are still out there, plotting the demise of the "infidel" and our way of life.  The implacable hatred I have for these religious fanatics I will hold close to me until the day I die.

Hi,

I know what you mean,

Ever since Katrina hit, I keep seeing pictures of 9/11.  It feels sorta like  "De ja vue."

I felt I had to remind other people that today was the 4Th anniversary of the terrible day in infamy.

I just know that we can make it through Katrina's destruction, just as we made it through 9/11.

We are so blessed to have so many loving and caring people in America. It is her people who make this country so strong....

I hope everyone is having a wonderful, restful Sunday.

waddles38606.4481365741I remember watching it here in UK and couldnt beleive my eyes.  Id just taken my then 3 yr old son to his first day at half day primary school and came in and put news on tv to watch it happening live - unbeleivable.  My thoughts go out to all you who had friends/family involved in this terrible selfish hateful thing.  I will always remember that day. The families are in my prayers.

I am a day late in posting but I will never forget those who died and were injured and those poor souls that lost a husband,wife,daughter,son,mother,father...I pray that time has healed some of their wounds.

Sheila136638607.1017476852A FEW DAYS LATE BUT WANTED TO POST.  I TRAINED IN NEW YORK ON THE 54TH FLOOR  OF THE WORLD TRADE CENTER WITH DEAN WITTER IN 1993 WHEN I BECAME A STOCKBROKER.   THE BUILDING HAD ALREADY BEEN BOMBED A YEAR OR SO EARLIER AND SECURITY WAS VERY TIGHT.  NO ONE COULD HAVE DREAMED TERRORIST WOULD HAVE FLOWN A PLANE INTO THE BUILDING.  THE MORNING THAT I WATCHED THAT WAS SO EMOTIONAL FOR ME AND WHEN THE FIRST TOWER FELL, I JUST SCREAMED AND CRIED.  I KNEW SO MANY PEOPLE THAT WORKED THERE AND I KNEW THEIR FATE.  FOR THE GRACE OF GOD, IT COULD HAVE HAPPENED WHEN I WAS THERE AND THAT HIT VERY CLOSE TO HOME.  IT WAS HORRIBLE FOR OUR INDUSTRY AND THE SUBSEQUENT RECESSION THAT FOLLOWED.  THRU THE BAD, SO MUCH GOOD CAME OUT OF IT.  WE HAD GOTTEN TOO SECURE IN THIS COUNTRY AND OUR EYES WERE OPENED THAT WE AS AMERICANS WERE AS VUNERABLE AS THE REST OF THE WORLD.   THE BEST OF AMERICA CAME OUT AFTER THAT TRADGEDY AND WE WILL BE STRONGER   FOR IT.  GOD BLESS ALL WHO LOST FAMILY AND FRIENDS IN THAT EVENT.
