Hubby called last night and I was happy to tell him that I think I had the right mix to cope with my pain. Ultram and Darvocet. He said "I think you had better check into side effects because it seems like I read on your prozac that you were not supposed to take tramodol (Ultram) I looked it up and sure enough - it even said it could be fatal ! So there goes my Ultram/darcocet cocktail.
I am going to church with a friend this morning. I thought I should try to get out and my friend called and invited me with his fiance. He is also getting married so we hope to stay friends. Wish me luck. Worried about sitting through church - hope they stand and sing a lot

after you return home. It's tough to get ready, etc.,
but when you do get out amongst friends, it makes a world of difference
in our attitude. Let us know how you feel when you return. You
may be tired, but you should be relaxed. And it gives you
something else to think about beside yourself. It works for me

You are right Sophie. It was so good for me. You are also right I HAVE TO FEEL BETTER for my hunky husband. You just can't slow that man down so I have to try to keep up with him if I want to hang out with him. He can barely sit through a movie after a hard day of work
Did you talk to the pharmacy???? Did you talk to your RD did you talk to your GP - They should all be keeping track of your meds and alert you to some of these potential conflicts. Mine almost killed me last month- the doc prescribed diclofenelac and I was reading the insert and it said dont take if have problems with feldene. well the word feldene sounded familiar- called the pharmacy and they said nope you never had this drug- called my GP and they said oh no you are allergic to feldene- gives me internal bleeding- go figure.....So had to call RD and tell them- I called back the pharmacy and told them they better check out their computer system- Now I have to call them again because my GP gave me a birth control pill to take for 3 months because I have non stop periods- took one yesterday and was sick as a dog. Turns out this pill shouldnt be taken with 3 of the other meds I take......Brother.......Gotta keep close tabs on all this....You know when we get better aquainted with all these meds- we might be able to be pharmacists ourselves.......now thats a scarey thought
