Anyone tried colloidal silver for throat infections??

never heard of it..   I'm afraid of it.  I know they say it isn't the same as it used to be, but I'm not chancing turning that ugly greyish blue.  Those poor people that experienced it look like they are dead.LOL, we have a guy in our community who ran for a public office in 06. I saw him and gasped!. I thought he as cyanotic, blue lips, blue face. Was so strange. He was ahead of us in a parade and I thought the whole time that I would be doing CPR by the end of the parade. Then a few days later an article appeared in the paper about him. He is the product of colloidal silver gone way bad. Not sure I would do this and take that chance.

No way.  There are many other treatments for a sore throat that has less side effects than CS.

I have a friend that swears by it and she's into naturopathic ways.  Personally, a lot of us are heavy metal over-loaded - so I wouldn't chance it.

I used collodial silver for years in very small doses to treat a chronic sinus infection.  Overdoses cause blue skin, plus being stupid.  Silver jugs were used to store milk originally because it kept the milk from turning.  More infection evidence - every time I used it, I felt tremdendously better.  I probably haven't had any in maybe 10 years now and I am not blue.
