Thanks for all the replies, I DON'T have strep throat thank the good Lord! But whatever it is is viral and Doc gave me an RX for 3-day Zithromax in case it turns bacterial over the weekend, I hope it doesn't. So we shall see.
PCP took some time with me today explaining the whole antibiotics with RA thing and I think I'm a little more informed. It sucks that the very medicine that helps us with our RA also makes us vulnerable to every germ know to mankind!
Well, is he going to test if it turns bacterial? Antibiotics don't work on viruses.Sometimes i get the mouth soars in the back of my throat and i think that it is strep. I also swell up around the ear canal, so the connection toward my neck when i swallow feels like strep.
