KOT: Tremors Again | Arthritis Information

Ok, so I was "researching" why I maight be having these uncontrolable tremors when I do to much or bend over a lot. I do not really remember having these before, but I could be wrong.

Anyways... it looks like this could be caused by my stroke I had or by prednisone usage.

I am going to go with my stroke for this one. Because... my right leg shakes more and takes longer for it to stop shaking than the rest of my body. I have been having some weird things happening with my right leg, other than the hip problem, since having my stroke.

I do remember my right leg going numb when the right side of my face went numb, but I did not put it all together until my GP was talking to me about it. my upper thigh to the outside feels numb and I get weird odd ball pains. They are not like RA or Fibro pain they are like little shoots of pain, like what I get on the right side of my face that is numb.

Well that is what it is all based on. When I go to my GP appt next month I will tell him about the tremors and see what he thinks it is.

Just thought I would share my "research" with ya'll... not like it is going to help any of you Joonie,

Have you looked up MS symptoms. You can have tremors from MS as well.

George
Thanks for the info, George. I will look it up.

Hope all is well with you. Forgot to mention good to she what you look like (your pic on the other thread).
parkinson's diseaseNeuropathy? That typically begins with tingling and numbness in the extremeties....have you had any symptoms of that?

Keep a journal on this........make sure you ask your Dr.

The only tingling and numbness I had/have is after I had the stroke.

The tremors only happen when I over exert myself and then keep going on with what I was doing. It starts in my legs, they will shake uncontrollably and then if I do not stop what I am doing and rest it will get worse and eventually my whole body will shake. You cannot see me shaking, unless you look at my hands, but I can feel it shaking.

It is just something new. Seems these days I always have something "new".Joonie, I have shaking like that after I have over exerted myself and they are visible by other people. Especially my hands and legs. I take muscle relaxers and then take it easy and they go away after awhile of resting. I just thought it was from over doing things.??
It's a freaky thing to go through. I hope you feel better soon!
I feel ok. My legs that were so sore from the first round of shaking, is not so sore as of today, but man they sure were very sore for a few days.

I had it happen to me again yesterday, the shaking. I was cleaning the bathroom and picking stuff off the floor and wiping down the outside of the toilet. I did not do it long, but it still happened but not to the point of the other day, because I stopped cleaning.

So... it looks like if I do not bend over much or do a lot at one time, I will not have that happen to me. It is just so confusing and I want to clean my house a little. I am tired of looking at it. I need a majic wand, and POOF my house is clean.

I feel like I should be able to clean my house even if it be one room a day, but with this happening to me it is nearly impossible to do anything, and it just makes me not want to do something I feel I should be able to do.

It is upsetting.
Yes it is upsetting. Take it a little at a time. Like today, I was doing dishes. I would do some and take a break. During a commmercial, I would get up and do more dishes. Then take a break. It took a while but the kitchen got cleaned and I wasn't so worn out.
