Low grade fever | Arthritis Information

I have a low RF. But yesterday I experienced a low grade fever, headache, and a general feeling of now feeling well.  I get this spasm in my neck which in turn causes an aching in my shoulder and yesterday my arm.  Can anyone tell me if this is part of RA the fever and such?

Hi joycee,

Sorry you're not feeling well.  Yes, the low grade fever and gen bad feeling can definately be ra related.  Many with ra have clusters of days with low grade fevers and some run them all the time.

I guess you'll just have to watch for a pattern and see how it goes.  Could of course just be a bug too.

Hope you feel better soon

When I first started getting symptoms I had a very strange pain in my wrists. They would totally stiffen up to the point that I couldn't even move them. I wouldn't even be able to do my hair or get dressed properly or even pick things up. It also happened in my neck once. If you're concerned, you should keep track of how you're feeling and definitely discuss it with your doctor.

Take care!
