Babs my doctor gets that way too! He gives me a high 5- a little dated I know but he's in his 70's  a quoty from the post... i putit here as the post is  big..

just wanted to say. my doc is old to. he allso does the High 5  and taps the hands
this is his way of assesing how a person  is.  if a person responds to the high5
and allows the taps to the wrists he then assumes all is fine.. i have had many taps
on the wrists . untill xrayed by another doc revealed 2 wrists near fused something
colapsed in them and osteoarthrtis..  just thought i would mention this ..

Boney
oh oh good to know!

Noticed my is a bit forgetful too. Wanted me to go for a MRI of my head and said he'd call and clear it with the ins. co. and then call me.

He never did!

wanttobe, I can't imagine why you'd need an MRI of the head (I know that sounds like a joke, but i'm serious.. what was he looking for?)

I love hearing about NDs who obviously care.. and "get into" their patients diagnosis and improvements!  thanks for sharing that Boney!!
hi babs this is my rheumatologist    ROFL

I complained that I had brain fog, I was reversing letters when I was typing, was making mistakes at work and had headaches. I thought he would say it's the MTX.

Instead he said maybe we better do an MRI.

I don't think it's anything and didn't want to go. So when he didn't call- I didn't remind him.
well glad to see it was not seriouse and only your
Brain was involved  Maybe I can ask the wizard for a new one!
