Has anyone ever tried drinking tonic water every day to see if it helps RA? It has Quinine in it, which is similar to Plaquenil etc.. My brother has restless leg syndrome and his doctor in Perth Australia told him to drink tonic water, and it worked.

I just was thinking.... I wonder if it'll help at all. Or if the qty of quinine is too small....My Dad drank tonic water for leg cramps and it helped. the quantity is way too low to help RAMy mom always used to say that when you crave something, it means your body needs it.  Your body was telling you that you're missing some nutrient that the quinine provides.  Your story doesn't surprise me.  I wonder what it means when you crave cake, ice cream and potato chips?
My mom always used to say that when you crave something, it means your body needs it.  Your body was telling you that you're missing some nutrient that the quinine provides.  Your story doesn't surprise me.  I wonder what it means when you crave cake, ice cream and potato chips?
My mam always says that too. She has RA and drinks tonic water everyday! I am going to ask her what it does for her We have soda stealers too! I put a 12 pack in the fridge so I don't have to spend a pop in the vending machine. So people think it's in the fridge therefore it's free? I write my name on it in sharpie. I'm getting ready to put a mouse trap in the box- when I hear the scream I'll catch the culprit!
