My neck issue usually give me crazy headaches right at the base of the head. I had been diagnosed with migraines a few years ago but it wasn't until they did an MRI that they found the neck inflammation.

Numbness would concern me as well. Have you mentioned it to your dr?hi rocckyd  i was told i have a slight instability of the neck about
5-6 yrs ago but this has never been reasesed allso secondarey arthritis
of the spine due to long standing severe erosive ra ..so i am a little woried..

I'd also suggest an MRI if you can get one.  It will show exactly what stage your spine is at now and may eliminate some of your worries.  Or, if it shows progression, you and your doctor will know that something must be done.  Please mention this to your doctor at your next visit.  hi jess .  easier said than done whith my docs.. i will talk to gp friday..
i better wright all this down.. my brain goes blank when i get in there..
to little time to discuss all the isues.

Boney   Hi Boney

I do get a pins and needles feeling along the back of my head and one side of my face when my neck acts up.  I've never had a numb feeling but everyone is different.

You really really need to get a MRI on your neck.  You need to find out exactly what shape your neck is in..I would think with the neuropathy issues as well as the severe RA that you would get approval for one

Definitely take a list of topics with you.  I always do, and it helps quite a bit.
